Bishopp PR supported the third series of Coastguards: Search and Rescue SOS, which aired from 24 September at 9pm. The series offered exclusive access to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the exceptional people working to keep UK waters safe.
Across the run, cameras followed coastguard teams around the UK - from dramatic helicopter search-and-rescue missions over the North Sea to high-stakes criminal maritime investigations along the South Coast. Viewers were also taken inside mayday coordination centres, where staff deal with life-or-death emergencies, and aboard vessels undergoing tense inspections that can lead to detentions or prosecutions.
The series showcased the breadth and complexity of the MCA’s work, revealing the challenges and responsibilities of protecting lives and enforcing maritime law on our shores and beyond.
